Horror fans and music lovers—prepare for an unforgettable night of chilling brews and atmospheric tunes! Join us Saturday, September 6th at Woods Boss Brewing for the official Monster Mash Beer Release Party!
We’re thrilled to feature a live performance by Nathan Jamiel, frontman of Colorado’s experimental psych-rock band The Drood. Known for conjuring sonic landscapes that are as haunting as they are hypnotic, Nathan brings a genre-bending solo set that blends shoegaze, drone, folk, and experimental pop into a one-of-a-kind, multi-instrumental performance.
Whether dark and eerie or strangely uplifting, Nathan’s sound is immersive, ever-evolving, and never the same twice. He’s also a key contributor to Orbit Service and a touring/writing collaborator with legendary UK experimentalists Dead Voices On Air.

An unpredictable night of genre-bending improvisational musical thrills with Dead Voices On Air: Dadu, Radio Massacre International and Nathaniel Jamiel [Colorado, USA]
DEAD VOICES ON AIR: DADU ‘Heat-meets-James-Brown-in-a-concrete-mixer avant-punk-funk-jazz flavoured noise!’
Dead Voices On Air founder and prolific experimental musician Mark Spybey was a member of Zoviet-France before moving to Vancouver and forming Dead Voices on Air.
He’s released over 100 albums [?!], collaborated with Michael Karoli and Damo Suzuki of Can and released recordings or toured with the likes of Lee Scratch Perry, members of Wire, Loop, Faust, Cluster, Neu!, Throbbing Gristle and The Legendary Pink Dots.
Dead Voices on Air: Dadu is a collaboration with Stephen Weatherall, Martin Harvey and Gary Widdowfield, combining Dead Voices on Air’s trademark dark ambience with powerful frenetic and at times equally joyful and harrowing sounds made with real instruments: guitars, bass and drums.
The band spontaneously compose in the studio and have released one album to date (the CD edition sold out in days) and have a double CD coming out this summer.
This is a rare live outing for the band – their only previous show at the Georgian Theatre’s Green Room sold out literally weeks in advance.
RADIO MASSACRE INTERNATIONAL (RMI) A (good) few years ago, Steve Dinsdale, Gary Houghton and Duncan Goddard began recording cassettes as DAS. They later evolved into radio massacre international and released their first CD in 1995. They haven’t stopped since…
RMI use vintage keyboards, sampled sounds, old-school electronics, live guitar, and on occasions bass and drums to create a sound that is uniquely theirs – fusing ambient with prog and krautrock influences and distilling everything through lengthy improvisations.
They were the first band of any kind to play live at the famous Jodrell Bank observatory, the same week as they were featured in an MTV co-host which was broadcast across Europe. They have since released over fifty albums on various labels including US imprint Cuneiform, and can count six trips to the USA (including the prestigious NEARfest and Progwest festivals) and a host of European theatre shows on their mighty impressive CV.
NATHANIEL JAMIEL [USA] US musician Nathan leads the Colorado-based experimental psych-rock band, The Drood. He has released four full-length albums with The Drood as the primary songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist. He’s also an active contributor to the US-based band Orbit Service and an occasional touring member and writing collaborator of DVOA, so tonight’s show starting to feel like a bit of a family affair!

NEW SONG and VIDEO from our upcoming full-length album The Book of Drood available March 1. Music video by Wizardhead Get the track everywhere you find music!
This industrial-psych track features haunting vocals bolstered by textural guitar, a dynamic backbone beat and steady bass. Immersive, imaginative and melancholy.
The core of this piece was originally written and recorded at home by Nathan Jamiel in early 2021 in Lafayette, CO during a solo two-day psychedelic exploration of Deterministic philosophy fresh on the heels of the death of his father and childhood friend.
lyrics
Stare into the bit that was etched Into time and space, then egress forever trapped in amber forever trapped together forever trapped We watch you hang, are you alive On the wall, in plain sight Sweet vessel, empty and light I was just projecting Here come back, from the edge Where you left your sick and dying for dead A moment, trapped in your head Forever, trapped, forever, trapped, forever
